You can deploy AI anywhere, in any part of Aico. Here are the first use cases in journals, reconciliations and closing. These are only examples. There are many other opportunities for customers to leverage AI as they see fit.
There are no restrictions on where AI can be leveraged within Aico.
Module-specific use cases:
Journal entry automation
Auto-generate consistent journals, enforce naming and posting rules and have AI test evidence before approval. For example, evaluating the suitability of an attachment as the supporting evidence for the journal being posted and/or evaluating the quality of comments added by anyone in the workflow.
Account reconciliation
Attach ERP reports automatically to each reconciliation. Let AI rate the supporting evidence and call out mismatches or missing support so preparers focus on what needs attention. Set an auto-reconciliation rule based on the AI rating.
Closing tasks
Check the content of a report, either generated from the ERP or imported from a file share. In the AI instruction, ask it to look for some specific content and if it is found, auto-complete the task.

Email notifications
AI will summarise any Aico document (journal, reconciliation, closing task), which can then be used to better inform approvers of the content of the document that needs approval.
Approver comment review
Ask AI to assess approval comment quality against your policy and flag weak approvals immediately. Approvers can correct comments in line with policy before the document moves on.
Report verification
Run reports in real time and have AI confirm that required postings, reversals or any other required content appear, giving users clear confirmation within the workflow, supporting both internal and external controls.
